Responsibilities & Tasks

Adherence to safe object handling for both 3-D and

2-D objects with special consideration to cultural heritage objects, construction of archival housing units for collections storage, assistance with object care for upcoming exhibitions

Support for Quest for the West® Art Show and Sale including artwork identification and arrangement, exhibition setup and teardown, and (un)packing/crating artwork for shipment and pickup

Catalog objects via record creation and maintenance in The Museum System including accurate dimension recording, constituent/provenance inspection, condition report assessment, proper object classification, and photography capture and upload
